1932 Holly Springs, Mississippi - Marshall County Court House

Postcard showing the Marshall County Court House in Holly Springs, Mississippi. This postcard was published by The Pure Drug Pharmacy of Holly Springs. In the 1870's  Pure Drug Pharmacy was the site of one of the most notorious murders in Holly Springs history (Feb. 1876 murder of shopkeeper Marcus Louis). In 1916 Pure Drug is still listed in the town directory. This postcard was probably published nearer the 1916 date than when it entered the United States mail system in 1932 (see photo showing postmark).  The card has a a bad vertical crease across its center.
