"HOLLEB'S SUPREME BROWNIE TOASTED CORN FLAKES" ORIGINAL CEREAL BOX
- 1940s Holleb & Co. 7.5" x 10.25" x 2.5". Colorful graphic 11 oz. cereal box featuring a great image of "brownie elves" toasting a bowl of cereal over an open fire.
The brownie figures pictured on this box are patterned after the famous Palmer Cox Brownies, fairy-like creatures created in the late 1800s.
An eye-catching early cereal box with excellent display potential.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate cardboard discoloration with a 4-1/8" clean horizontal tear going through one box side into front area. Neatly opened at top and bottom with a 1.5" corner top flap tear/chip. Box displays well put together (flaps are not adhered). We will ship this piece flat. Colors are still bold, bright and attractive.
Overall, we consider this a very nice CHARACTER CEREAL BOX display by most standards.
