    Here's a
    1940s or 1950s KELLOGG'S VARIETY "BAL-LOON-IE" CEREAL PREMIUM GIVEAWAY
    .  The diecut cardboard "feet" still have the unused green balloon attached, and the printing is very clear.  I don't think many of these have survived!  The cardboard base is 4 3/8" in diameter and 5 3/8" tall.  I have not been able to prove the date of issue, but I suspect it is from the early 1950s.
    See attached photos for a closer look.  Faint moisture stain on back side of base (not visible on front).  Balloon is not brittle!
