Please email with any questions. 1908 postmark on this postcard of Main Street looking West, Natchez, MS. The photograph used for this postcard shows the Natchez Drug Company with a mortar and pestle hanging outside and painted signage on the side of the building. The Drug Company was located at the corner of Main and Union and was the site of a deadly fire in 1908 from a gas explosion that killed eleven people. The site of the building remains empty to this day. Postcard shows wear to the corners, some postmark ink on the front, faint stain along left edge.
