    Your original Jenn Air switch is a flush mount or flat switch besides the rocker. This allows it to mount flush underneath your appliance panel. Other sellers use a mounting plate that places the switch on top of the plate. The problem is the switch frame wont fit through your existing hole, only the rocker fits through which gives you 2 options. Either cut the hole in your appliance bigger or mount it on the wobbly frame with gap between the plate and your appliance. Neither of those are good solutions and are a cheap way out for sellers.  We on the other hand offer a flush switch setup just like your original. No frame sticking up and no wobbly mounting surface.
