FLAMESTONE-FLUTED/BROWN (OLDER) by DANSK Denmark 12 1/8 inch coffee pot

Description

This is a coffee pot. The base measures about 12 1/8 inches tall. The lid adds extra height. It holds 8 cups. The base is marked Dansk Designs Denmark JHQ.
No chips, cracks, it has a few very light scratches to the matte finish that this pattern gets from just rubbing onto other pieces. The inside has some tiny little brown dots and a couple of glaze pops as shown in the photos.
Everything on my hmnpwr site and my sister's 2vegburg site is from our parent's collections. They started collecting in the early 70's, mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area at the flea markets, shows, auctions, estate sales but they also traveled to LA or east to buy and sell. Their interests were mostly early American to midcentury American and Scandinavian ceramics. They also collected tableware, concentrating on California production. We regularly list new pieces that have been stored away for decades.
