This tour went all around the country some 13 years after WW11 had ended. Japan was really having a hard time and needed to sell their ideals and products to the western world. They saw the USA as a potential huge marketplace but before that, they had to win over the American people and show them something about the culture in Japan. This dance and music troupe did all that and more with support from the Japanese government. You really need to read this and understand where they were coming from at that time. It is a great collectors piece and one to treasure.
