New, 1950's Era,Wheaties Miniature Microscope Cereal Premium in it's Original Packaging.
This neat little 2-inch high microscope has an adjustable focusing lens
designed by General Scientific Corporation. The Wheaties box carried the tagline
:
"Kids! Explore the Wonders of Nature with your 6 Power Microscope Free in this Box! Magnifies objects to 6 times normal size. See things invisible to the naked eye on leaves, flowers, insects (and) rocks." These little microscopes are considered to be one of the most unique and collectible cereal premiums of the era.
This particular microscope has been in storage for many years in it's original paper packaging. The acid in the paper has caused some yellowing of the bag and fading of the print over the years which is normal for paper unless it is archival quality. The microscope pictured was removed form a different bag to show the product and the quality. The microscope you will receive is sealed and in original the bag pictured.
