    Description

Complete 5 piece set of the "Sergeant Preston" Miniature Northwest Indian Totem Poles, a Cereal Premium that was offered through Quaker Cereals in the early 1950's. This is the
way they were painted when I got them from Quaker in about 1952. They are all about 4’’ tall.
I glued them on this 12’’ x 4 ¼’’ board when they were new. I’ve never tried to remove them. These premiums were offered through a Quaker Puffed Wheat / Puffed Rice cereal promotion of the Sergeant Preston's Radio Program and these were replicas of actual Totem Poles from the Great Northwest and the paper work tells more about each totem. Also included is the original order form that came with these so I could order another set.
Totem poles are in very good condition. Please look at the pictures as part of the description.
These wood / composition totem poles are from the Sgt. Preston radio program but interestingly there is no reference to him. Totem pole names are: "Thunderbird, The Fight with the Land Otters, Burial Pole, Killer Whale, Sun, and Raven. "Each is nicely detailed. The paper thoroughly describes each totem pole and includes an order coupon noting that they were available for 25¢ each or .00 plus box top for the complete set.
